An Architectural Revolt Against Visual Noise
The core philosophy of minimalist architecture rests on the principle that "Less is more." Picture an interior where we have concealed the skirting boards within the walls, recessed the lighting beneath the plaster, and resolved the column-beam junctions with flawless simplicity. As the architect walks down this clean, fluid corridor, the moment they spot the massive steel casings protruding fifteen centimeters and the crude hinges suddenly appearing in the middle of the wall, the holistic illusion they created shatters to pieces. The heavy, coarse, industrial stance of steel doors has for years been the greatest nightmare of interior architects. To eliminate this visual noise entirely, we are placing at architects' disposal the Concealed Frame (Frameless / Flush Door) systems we developed under our Luxury Design Series.
A Flush Design That Becomes One with the Wall
At the foundation of concealed-frame technology lies the act of burying that heavy steel structure carrying the door inside the wall, directly behind the plaster or the plasterboard. Viewed from outside, no casing (trim strips) is visible. The door leaf sits in perfect alignment, to the millimeter, with the surrounding wall (flush). If you are cladding your corridor wall with natural marble, a bespoke wooden panel, or an asymmetrically cut wallpaper, then on our production line we clad the door leaf with the exact same material. A person walking down the corridor cannot, at first glance, perceive where the door begins and where it ends. The sight of a vast section of the wall opening inward, suddenly and silently, lends the space an incredibly sophisticated air.
3D-Adjustable Concealed Hinge Engineering
How is it possible to attach a half-ton steel shield to a frame hidden inside the wall while showing not a single piece of metal from the outside? With ordinary butt hinges, this is impossible. The custom-made 3D concealed hinges we use on these projects are milled into the side surface of the door leaf and into the interior of the frame. When the door closes, they become entirely invisible. The truly magical part is that these hinges can be adjusted to the millimeter across three axes (left-right, up-down, forward-back) with an Allen key. Even in the event of the slightest sag caused by the building's natural settling (flexing) over the years, we can restore the door to perfect level alignment without removing it from its place.
This technology is not merely an aesthetic illusion; behind it lies the multi-point locking systems that Işıldak Çelik Kapı has developed against burglary and drilling. It is the most powerful weapon of visionary architects who preserve the purity of a space while never compromising on security.
